Rubik's Cube

Hi! WOW! It has been over a month since my last post!! Well, today is a monumental day in History, because, I SOLVED MY RUBIK'S CUBE! I did it all by myself! ( with a LITTLE bit of help from YouTube of course )

I don't see how anyone could ever solve a Rubik's cube without some help!? Sometimes there are things that you  just can't do on your own...and some days you just need a little help. :-) There is absolutely nothing wrong with needing help every once in a while! Everyone at one point or another in their life, just needs some help. Everyone needs help, but also everyone is also capable of offering some help. No matter how rich, or poor, big, or small, weak, or strong, you are, YOU can always help someone worse off then you! For example, just yesterday there was an AWFUL  tornado that struck the Oklahoma area. Maybe you aren't able to go directly there and help clean up, serve food, or give comfort. But you can always do something to help! You could; Pray for safety for those helping clean up, serving food, or giving comfort. You could go to Convoy Of Hope and help package food for tornado relief. You could donate to the recovery of Oklahoma through The Red Cross, or another organization helping in that area. There is always something you can do to help. Maybe it's not just when a disaster happens, maybe its just helping your Mom make dinner, helping a friend with math homework, or helping someone practice for their sports game! Sometimes it's just the things that you think are small, that could make all the difference in someones life. Whatever you do, just remember; there's always something you can do to help!

Creativity is something everyone must learn at some point. Being creative is an essential part of life. You use your creativity just about every day! For example, sometimes you must be creative if you want to make a meal, write a blog, wrap a gift, solve problems, or dominate a game of jenga! There are a lot of ways to exercise your creativity. One of the ways I have exercised my creativity recently, is by scrapbooking. Last night I helped my sister with her scrapbook, it took a LONG time, but it was really fun! I completed about like 6 pages! (we made a HUGE mess!!) Scrapbooking is a great way to let your creativity shine, and record fun memories :)

Done!!

As you know, I home school. One of the many perks of home schooling, is setting your own pace. In fact, I am experiencing that this week! Just today (April 16th) I finished my math for the summer! Also, In only a week or two, I will be finished with my science! Summer is headed my way quicker than usual this year!

I am super excited for a summer full of being with friends, trips to the lake, kids camp, and swimming :) Summer is probably one of my favorite seasons of all. Mainly because of the free schedule and swimming. (I LOVE SWIMMING!) This year, one of my best friends moved into a new house about three minutes away from my house. It's an awesome house with an in ground pool. So hopefully, we will spend a lot of time having fun in the sun (and the pool) together this summer!

Welcome to LillyBilly'sblog! I'm glad you stopped by! First, let me introduce myself. I'm Lilly :) I'm in 6th grade, I'm 12 years old, and I live in Missouri. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. ( I'm the youngest of 5 )That's me in the middle :)

I love music! Singing it, dancing to it, playing it, and even making videos for it! Some of the other things I enjoy doing are: Playing Volleyball, hanging out with friends, messing with my hair, and going to church every Sunday and Wednesday :) Since I home school, I enjoy helping my mom with her in-home daycare during the week.
